This market will resolve according to the winner of the 2026 midterm Alaska U.S. Senate election, inclusive of any run-offs, currently scheduled for November 3, 2026. If the results of the election are not confirmed by July 31, 2027, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market is the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources call the race for the same candidate. If all three sources haven’t called the race in this state for the same candidate, this market will resolve based on official certification.Mary Peltola’s strong performance in Alaska’s August 18 nonpartisan primary, where she captured nearly half the vote ahead of incumbent Republican Dan Sullivan, has shaped trader views of the November 3 general election. Peltola’s established crossover appeal among independent and Native Alaskan voters, combined with ranked-choice voting that rewards broader preference rankings, underpins her leading implied probability. Recent polling averages remain tight, with Sullivan holding a slim edge or parity in several surveys, yet traders appear to weigh Peltola’s fundraising edge, primary momentum, and Alaska’s history of supporting moderate Democrats more heavily. Minor candidates, including the second Dan Sullivan and others, register negligible support consistent with their primary showings and limited general-election viability. The race is widely viewed as a toss-up by forecasters, leaving room for late shifts from campaign events or turnout patterns before Election Day.
