Nominations for the 60th CMA Awards, announced September 10, set the competitive field for Musical Event of the Year, with five high-profile collaborations vying for the honor. “A Song To Sing” by Miranda Lambert and Chris Stapleton leads trader sentiment at 47.5% implied probability, buoyed by its prior CMA performance, Grammy nods, strong radio traction, and the duo’s established chemistry. The remaining contenders trail at 4.5–25.5%, creating a tight race where voter preferences for star power, storytelling, or crossover appeal could shift outcomes. Ella Langley’s overall nomination dominance and Morgan Wallen’s involvement add layers, while historical patterns favor established acts in this category. The November 18 ceremony remains the key resolution date, with late momentum from reviews or streaming data as potential swing factors.
