Gracinha Caiado (União Brasil) holds a commanding lead in the Goiás Senate race for first place, backed by repeated polling advantages from her visibility as former first lady and her federation's organizational strength ahead of the October 4 single-round vote for two seats. Recent surveys through mid-September, including those from Quaest, Paraná Pesquisas, and Directa, place her well ahead in combined first- and second-preference totals, reflecting sustained voter recognition during the short official campaign period. Gustavo Gayer (PL) trails as the clearest challenger for second, drawing support from conservative voters, while Vanderlan Cardoso, Zacharias Calil, and Gustavo Mendanha remain in tighter contention for the remaining position amid high undecided shares. Trader consensus on these probabilities aligns with the latest public data showing limited movement in the final weeks before ballots open.
