The Uruguayan Primera División 2026 runner-up market reflects broad parity across the league, with the annual table tightly bunched after 28–29 matches and multiple clubs still in contention through the ongoing Clausura. Peñarol leads the aggregate standings on 55 points but faces pressure from Deportivo Maldonado and Racing on 52, while Montevideo City Torque sits on 50 with games in hand and strong Clausura form. Nacional, Liverpool, and Montevideo Wanderers remain within striking distance around 42–43 points, supported by solid recent results and favorable remaining fixtures. This even distribution of points, combined with the tournament structure that rewards consistency across Apertura, Intermedio, and Clausura, has kept implied probabilities for second place clustered near 47–49% with no dominant favorite emerging.

The resolution source will be official information from the Uruguayan Primera División; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.
