Forecast models from the National Weather Service indicate a high near 79°F in Chicago on September 10, driven by morning cloud cover transitioning to partly sunny skies, light northerly winds around 5-10 mph, and moderate humidity levels that curb further warming. This aligns with the climatological average high of 78.2°F for the date and follows a recent cooling trend after early-September readings in the mid-80s to low-90s. Trader consensus reflected in the 64% implied probability for 78-79°F and 24.5% for 76-77°F incorporates these official guidance updates, with limited upside risk from the stable atmospheric pattern and no significant warm advection expected.
