Incumbent Republican Eli Crane holds a clear edge in Arizona’s 2nd Congressional District heading into the November 2026 general election, reflecting the seat’s Republican lean and his 2024 margin of victory. Recent polling shows Crane ahead by margins ranging from 2 to 11 points, consistent with the district’s R+7 Partisan Voter Index and Donald Trump’s 2024 performance there. Crane’s substantial fundraising advantage and cash-on-hand lead reinforce trader expectations, while his decision to skip a September 10 debate further signals confidence. Democratic nominee Jonathan Nez, the former Navajo Nation president, benefits from strong support among the district’s sizable Native American population and his 2024 overperformance relative to the presidential ticket, keeping the race within reach but secondary in current market pricing.

A candidate's party will be determined by their ballot-listed or otherwise identifiable affiliation with that party at the time all of the 2026 House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources. A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
This market will resolve based on the result of the election as indicated by a consensus of credible reporting. If there is ambiguity, this market will resolve based solely on the official results as reported by the United States government, specifically the Federal Election Commission (https://www.fec.gov/).
