Recent opinion polls place The Democrats, the Labor-Meretz alliance led by Yair Golan, between 8 and 10 Knesset seats on average ahead of the October 27 election, with individual surveys fluctuating due to competition for opposition votes from Yashar and Together. Surplus vote agreements with Yashar and the narrow gap between the Netanyahu and anti-Netanyahu blocs add uncertainty around turnout and threshold dynamics for smaller lists. This polling variance sustains the close market split between the 10-11 and sub-8 brackets, while later shifts in voter mobilization or coalition signaling could widen separation before results finalize.
