National Weather Service forecasts for Seattle on September 24 project a high near 62°F under mostly cloudy skies, with a chance of rain developing later in the day and light northerly winds. This setup aligns with the closely matched market-implied odds favoring 62-63°F (36%) over 60-61°F (34%), as modest daytime heating under variable marine-layer cloud cover could push the official reading at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport into either bin depending on exact timing and precipitation onset. Typical September climatology shows highs cooling from mid-70s earlier in the month toward the low 60s by late September, and current model consensus from NOAA emphasizes limited solar insolation that caps potential warming above 63°F while making sub-60°F outcomes less likely absent stronger onshore flow.
