**Trader consensus has converged fully on the 66-67°F bin because official NOAA observations at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport recorded a daily maximum in that narrow range on September 23, 2026.** Persistent marine stratus and overcast skies, combined with light southerly flow and limited solar insolation, suppressed afternoon heating below the late-September climatological average of 68.3°F. Ensemble guidance and NWS forecasts issued the prior day consistently pointed to a peak near 68–69°F under stable high pressure, yet the observed temperature aligned precisely with the lower end of those projections. Resolution criteria rely solely on the verified Sea-Tac reading, leaving virtually no room for alternative outcomes unless post-analysis revisions emerge. New data releases are not expected to alter this settled result.
