Current forecasts from meteorological agencies and models indicate a highest temperature in Helsinki today most likely between 16–18 °C, aligning with the market's strong weighting toward 17 °C and 18 °C. Typical early-September conditions feature average daily highs near 16.4 °C under moderate westerly flow, and today's setup—with daytime warming under partly cloudy skies, light southerly winds, and minimal precipitation—supports modest exceedance of the climatological norm without significant advection of warmer air. Model runs show limited spread, though small variations in cloud cover or timing of any showers could shift the precise peak by 1 °C. Traders appear to be pricing in the consensus guidance from official sources while acknowledging residual uncertainty inherent to short-range temperature forecasts.
