Clear skies and northerly flow are positioning Seattle for a daily high in the low to mid-70s on September 16, driving the market's strong consensus on 74-75°F. Official forecasts from sources aligned with NOAA guidance project 72-74°F amid minimal cloud cover and light winds, exceeding the 1991-2020 climatological average high of 70.6°F for the date. Recent September conditions, including a dry high-pressure pattern after mid-month cooling, have supported this modest warmth without significant marine influence or frontal systems. Model consensus shows limited spread, though afternoon observations could refine the exact peak. Market-implied odds reflect trader assessment of these stable atmospheric conditions and historical analogs near 72-76°F.
