Bryan Reynolds holds the edge in the MLB doubles race with 36 two-baggers, tied atop the leaderboard, bolstered by a recent surge that includes multi-hit outings and a lengthy on-base streak entering the final weeks. CJ Abrams sits close behind with consistent extra-base production despite a modest batting slump, keeping the contest tight among power-oriented hitters who combine gap power with plate discipline. Matt Olson, Freddie Freeman, and Yordan Alvarez trail further back with totals in the low-to-mid 30s, while schedule strength, health, and late-season at-bats will shape final positioning. The narrow spread between the top contenders reflects the wisdom of crowds pricing in these small margins and remaining opportunities.
