This market will resolve to the player who wins the 2026 American League Cy Young Award. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by MLB rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from Major League Baseball; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Cam Schlittler’s dominant 2026 campaign as the Yankees’ ace has driven the heavy market consensus, with the second-year right-hander posting a 13-6 record, 2.01 ERA, 0.92 WHIP, and 220 strikeouts across 178.2 innings while leading AL pitchers in WAR. These rate and counting stats, combined with elite control and consistent quality starts, have separated him from the field in a season where run prevention and workload metrics heavily influence Cy Young voting. Dylan Cease remains the clearest alternative but trails in ERA, WHIP, walks, and overall value after recent inconsistencies. With limited starts remaining, scenarios that could shift the outcome include Schlittler surrendering multiple runs in his final outings or Cease delivering a string of dominant performances, though the current statistical gap makes such reversals unlikely.
