This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed team is determined as the champion of the NBA for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed team to be named as the champion of NBA for the 2026-27 season per the rules of NBA (e.g., participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared winners, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after June 30, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a champion has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the NBA: however a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The Oklahoma City Thunder and San Antonio Spurs sit atop the 2027 NBA championship market as co-favorites due to their elite young cores, recent Western Conference Finals clash, and projected 60-win regular seasons. Oklahoma City returns Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Chet Holmgren, and Jalen Williams after a 64-18 campaign derailed by injuries in the playoffs, while San Antonio builds around Victor Wembanyama following its 2026 Finals run, with added depth from rookies like Tarris Reed Jr. and veterans such as Tobias Harris. The New York Knicks, fresh off their 2026 title, and the Philadelphia 76ers, bolstered by LeBron James alongside Joel Embiid, trail as Eastern Conference threats. This tight bunched pricing reflects the West’s parity, both teams’ ample draft capital and roster flexibility, and the absence of a clear repeat favorite in a league without recent dynasties.
