Recent forecasts from the India Meteorological Department and observational data for Lucknow on September 21 indicate a maximum temperature near 34–35°C under typical late-monsoon conditions with partly cloudy skies, scattered showers, and moderate humidity around 50–60%. Traders have converged on 33°C as the resolution outcome because official station readings, including Lucknow Airport, have aligned closely with this level in the latest 24-hour reports without signs of significant deviation. Historical September baselines for the region support this range, with limited day-to-day variability. A realistic challenge would require an unforecasted spike from clearer skies or suppressed rainfall that pushes the official maximum to 34°C or higher before the reporting window closes.
