Recent cooling after a late-September heatwave, with Karachi recording 40.7°C on September 21, has positioned 34°C as the market favorite at 71% implied probability. Pakistan Meteorological Department forecasts and current observations indicate a high near 32–34°C under partly cloudy skies, moderate westerly winds of 15–18 mph, and resuming sea breeze influence from the Arabian Sea, which typically caps daytime peaks in the post-monsoon transition. Persistent humidity around 60–80% and limited cloud cover support the secondary 35°C outcome at 26%, while historical September averages near 33°C and model consensus against renewed intensification keep higher or lower extremes below 1%. Official PMD station readings will determine resolution.
