Official National Weather Service measurements at Denver International Airport recorded a maximum temperature of 89°F on September 11, 2026, under clear skies and light southerly winds that supported daytime heating without significant cloud cover or precipitation. This direct observation aligns with the market's 100% implied probability for the 88-89°F bin, as traders incorporated real-time station data and climatological context showing typical early-September warmth in the Front Range. Model guidance preceding the date had projected highs near 90°F with minimal variability. A realistic challenge would require a revised official report or station malfunction altering the verified peak, though such revisions are rare after preliminary climatological data release.
