Traders have converged on a 40°C high for Karachi on September 13 due to real-time surface observations and model consensus showing peak afternoon temperatures reaching that threshold amid typical late-summer heat and humidity levels near 55-80%. Official monitoring from the Pakistan Meteorological Department aligns with this reading under partly cloudy skies and light westerly winds, consistent with climatological norms for mid-September when daily maxima often approach or exceed 35°C. The strong market-implied probability reflects verified data rather than projections, though minor adjustments remain possible if final station reports or quality-controlled measurements from primary sites revise the peak downward by even 1°C.
