The Baku street circuit’s long main straight favors overtaking and slipstreaming, yet its high braking demands, tight castle section, and history of safety car interventions create volatility that can shuffle the order. Recent tire allocation decisions add strategic pressure ahead of Thursday practice and Friday qualifying, with the Saturday race start compressing preparation. McLaren’s Lando Norris and Ferrari’s Lewis Hamilton and Charles Leclerc have shown street-circuit strength, while Max Verstappen seeks consistency after mixed results; the wisdom of crowds in pricing reflects these form, reliability, and layout variables for podium contention.
