**Ongoing Middle East conflict has created substantial uncertainty around the 2026 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina.** Earlier 2026 races in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia were cancelled or relocated due to regional tensions, prompting F1 to set a mid-September decision deadline for the Qatar and Abu Dhabi finales, with Imola eyed as a potential European replacement if safety or logistics issues arise. Recent reports indicate the call could slip into October, allowing more time to assess conditions before the late-November and early-December events. F1 leadership has repeatedly affirmed that both races remain on the calendar, with preparations advancing and tickets selling, yet paddock sources note persistent doubts and expectations of relocation in some quarters. This balance of official commitments against unresolved geopolitical risks explains the market's modest lean toward the event proceeding as scheduled.
