Drake London enters the 2026 season as Atlanta’s clear alpha wide receiver, coming off seven receiving touchdowns in just 12 games during 2025 while posting elite target rates. Quarterback instability remains the dominant variable, with Michael Penix recovering from a knee injury and Tua Tagovailoa sidelined by an oblique issue, forcing third-stringer Cooper Rush into the Week 1 starting role where the passing game struggled and London managed only two catches for 29 yards. New head coach Kevin Stefanski’s scheme and the presence of running back Bijan Robinson will influence red-zone distribution, but London’s volume and efficiency inside the 20 should rise once a capable starter settles in. His four-year extension underscores the team’s commitment to featuring him across a full 17-game schedule.
