Early NFL season results from Week 1 have begun shaping trader consensus on postseason probabilities, with strong performances by teams like the Baltimore Ravens, Buffalo Bills, and Jacksonville Jaguars boosting their implied odds while early losses for squads such as the Miami Dolphins and Cleveland Browns have pressured theirs. Key factors include quarterback continuity, defensive takeaways, and offensive line health, alongside schedule difficulty and divisional matchups that could determine wild-card positioning. Roster depth, particularly along the lines and at skill positions, remains central as injuries from the opener emerge on official reports. Historical trends show that teams starting 1-0 often sustain momentum into November, though the 14-team field leaves room for late surges by clubs with favorable remaining calendars or favorable rest advantages.
