This market will resolve in favor of the player that finishes Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season with the most interceptions thrown. Only games designated by the NFL as Week 1 of the 2026-27 regular season count. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve in favor of the tied player with a higher interception percentage (interceptions thrown divided by pass attempts) in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the player with fewer passing touchdowns in Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve to "Other". If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is shortened or truncated for any reason, the outcome shall be determined using available NFL statistics for completed games. If Week 1 of the 2026-27 NFL regular season is cancelled, postponed past September 30, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or it is unclear which player led the NFL in interceptions thrown within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the NFL; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The closely bunched probabilities around 50% for dozens of quarterbacks reflect Week 1's inherent unpredictability, with no dominant candidate emerging from preseason trends or recent form. Roster turnover plays a central role, as several signal-callers like Malik Willis, Deshaun Watson, Tua Tagovailoa, and Aaron Rodgers open the year in new or uncertain situations, while established starters face varied defensive schemes and potential weather or travel factors across the international and domestic slate. Early injuries, such as Sam Darnold's hip issue, plus limited rookie starts and backup opportunities, further spread the field. Traders price the market this way because single-game interception totals depend heavily on offensive line protection, receiver separation, and opponent pressure, creating realistic paths for multiple players to lead without a clear frontrunner.
