United Russia's commanding position in the Amur Oblast Legislative Assembly election stems from its control of the regional executive, with Governor Vasily Orlov heading the party list, combined with the mixed electoral system of proportional representation and single-mandate districts. Preliminary results after the 18–20 September voting show the party securing all 18 constituency seats and leading party-list tallies near 59 percent, consistent with national patterns where it captured over 57 percent amid high turnout. Other registered parties, including CPRF, LDPR, and smaller groups, trail far behind in both components. While the outcome appears settled based on processed protocols, final certification could still shift if administrative reviews or court challenges alter seat allocations in the 27-member assembly.
