This market will resolve to "Yes" if the listed club is determined as the runner-up of the Ligue 2 for the 2026-27 season. Otherwise, it will resolve to "No". If at any point it becomes impossible for a listed participant to finish as runner-up of Ligue 2 for the 2026-27 season per the rules of Ligue 2 (e.g., the participant is eliminated), the corresponding market will resolve to "No". If multiple teams are declared as second-place finishers, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed name comes first alphabetically. If this event is cancelled, postponed after July 31, 2027, 11:59 PM ET, or a runner-up has not been declared within this timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source will be official information from the Ligue 2; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used. The 2026-27 Ligue 2 campaign features pronounced parity across a deep field, with multiple clubs possessing comparable squad resources, recent top-flight experience, and promotion pedigrees that keep runner-up probabilities tightly clustered. Relegated sides such as FC Nantes and FC Metz, alongside established contenders like Stade de Reims, Montpellier HSC, and En Avant Guingamp, sit alongside surprise early performers including FC Annecy, Red Star FC, and AS Nancy Lorraine after six rounds. This balance, combined with the two automatic promotion spots and play-off structure, sustains broad trader consensus around even implied odds, as no single team has separated itself decisively in form, goal difference, or head-to-head trends. Schedule congestion and typical Ligue 2 volatility further reinforce the competitive spread.
