Databricks' valuation trajectory reflects sustained enterprise demand for its data and AI platform, with annualized revenue run rate surpassing $7 billion at over 80% year-over-year growth as of the August 2026 close. The company secured a $5 billion strategic round at a $190 billion post-money valuation that month, up sharply from $134 billion in February and $100 billion the prior September, fueled by AI product expansion and net dollar retention above 140%. Secondary trading implies levels near $208 billion, outpacing Snowflake's roughly $114 billion public market capitalization despite faster growth. With CEO signals pointing to a 2027 IPO rather than 2026 amid competing listings, near-term catalysts center on further revenue milestones and any additional private rounds before year-end resolution.
