Forecasts from the National Weather Service and local stations project a Denver high near 82–84°F on September 18, driven by partly sunny conditions ahead of afternoon showers and thunderstorms. This setup, with light variable winds shifting northerly and dew points in the mid-50s, favors modest daytime warming before convective activity develops and caps further rises. Climatologically, mid-September highs average near 78°F, so current model consensus reflects a modest positive departure supported by upstream ridging. The 51% market weighting on 82–83°F and 28% on 84–85°F aligns with this narrow forecast range, while lower-probability bins account for timing uncertainty in storm initiation that could trim or extend the peak by a degree or two. Updated model runs and NWS briefings through the afternoon will refine these implied probabilities.
