Jeremy Moss secured the Democratic nomination for Michigan’s 11th Congressional District in the August 2026 primary and now holds a commanding lead in the general election contest against Republican Ethan Baker. The open seat, vacated by Rep. Haley Stevens, lies in a solidly Democratic Oakland County district that has consistently favored Democratic candidates by double-digit margins in recent cycles. Moss, a state senator with legislative experience and party support, benefits from established voter identification and fundraising advantages typical in such partisan environments. Baker, Troy’s mayor and the unopposed GOP nominee, faces structural headwinds in a district rated Solid or Safe Democratic by multiple forecasters. Trader consensus reflects these baseline partisan dynamics, with limited room for shifts absent major late-cycle developments such as candidate withdrawals or significant external events before November 3.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
