Trader consensus has converged on a 66-67°F daily maximum in Seattle on September 12 because official station observations, including preliminary climatological data from Seattle-Tacoma International Airport, recorded a high in that narrow range. This outcome aligns with the observed conditions of overcast skies, light southerly winds, and moderate humidity that limited daytime heating below the seasonal average of 71°F. Model guidance issued the prior day had projected a slightly warmer 69°F peak, but actual measurements confirmed cooler readings consistent with the 66-67°F bin. Only an unreported station error or revision to the official maximum could alter the resolution, an unlikely scenario given the consistency across multiple reporting sources.
