Official measurements from National Weather Service stations in San Francisco recorded a daily high of 64–65°F on September 20, driving the near-certain market-implied probability for that outcome. Recent observational data from the period showed stable marine layer influence and moderate onshore flow that suppressed temperatures below typical late-summer peaks, aligning precisely with the recorded range. Historical September averages for the city fall near 70°F, making the cooler result notable but consistent with current coastal conditions. Trader consensus reflects confidence in the verified station data used for resolution, though minor revisions to official records or use of an alternate reporting site could theoretically alter the final classification.
