**Incumbent Democrat Jon Ossoff holds a consistent polling lead averaging around 7 points over Republican Mike Collins in the U.S. Senate race, reflecting strong Democratic performance in a state Trump carried by roughly 2 points in 2024.** The open gubernatorial contest between Democrat Keisha Lance Bottoms and Republican Rick Jackson remains closely contested, with recent surveys showing the candidates essentially tied or separated by low single digits. These dynamics produce the current trader consensus, where a Democratic sweep of both seats carries the highest implied probability as the most plausible joint outcome given the Senate advantage and the toss-up nature of the governor’s race. Low probabilities for Republican sweeps or split results align with historical patterns in Georgia’s competitive statewide contests and the absence of major late-breaking shifts since primaries concluded. The November 3 general election timeline leaves room for standard campaign events, turnout variations, or polling adjustments to influence final margins.

A candidate will be considered to represent a party by their ballot-listed affiliation or if they are the nominee of that party. Candidates who run as independents will not be encompassed by the “Democrat” or “Republican” options regardless of any affiliation they may have with the party.
If the results of these elections are not conclusively known by March 31, 2027, or if an independent or third-party candidate wins one of these elections, this market will resolve to "Other".
For purposes of this market, a "sweep" is when a party wins both races.
The resolution source for this market is the Associated Press, Fox News, and NBC. This market will resolve once all three sources have conclusively called the relevant Senate and Gubernatorial elections. If all three sources do not achieve consensus in calling the relevant races for this market, it will resolve based on the official certification.
