Incumbent Mayor George Harvie of Achieving for Delta holds a modest lead in trader pricing for the October 17, 2026, municipal election in Delta, British Columbia, ahead of sitting Councillor Dylan Kruger of One Delta and Melissa Granum of Delta First. The contest remains close because Kruger’s May 2026 launch capitalized on a council split, emphasizing affordability through a no-new-taxes pledge, infrastructure priorities, and restored resident input, while Harvie highlights his record of service and recent initiatives such as community forums. Granum’s September platform launch focused on accountability and public safety but registers lower support. With nominations closed and the campaign period underway, further separation will likely hinge on voter response to tax and spending contrasts, turnout in North and South Delta, and any late endorsements or local issue developments before election day.
