Current forecasts from multiple models indicate Madrid will see clear skies, light southerly winds, and a daytime high near 34°C on September 14, supporting the market's strong 65% implied probability for that exact outcome. Consensus points to afternoon peaks of 33–34°C under stable high pressure, with limited model spread and negligible precipitation risk keeping upside capped near 35°C. This aligns with seasonal patterns where September highs average about 27°C but recent warmth has pushed readings higher, though still well below the 34.4°C date record. Traders appear to weigh the tight forecast window and lack of late-day cooling against minor uncertainty in exact maximum timing, with resolution hinging on official AEMET observations tomorrow.
