Heat indices may reach 103-106°F amid elevated dew points, though minimal cloud cover and low precipitation chances (under 20%) support limited afternoon cooling. This aligns with late-September climatology slightly above the seasonal average high of around 90-92°F, positioning the 94-95°F bin as the market leader at 75.5% implied probability. Traders appear to weigh the narrow forecast spread against potential microscale variations at official reporting stations, with lower-probability bins reflecting risks of modest under- or over-performance.
