Current National Weather Service forecasts and local models point to a high near 79°F in Denver on September 19, with scattered afternoon thunderstorms likely amid a moist southerly flow and moderate instability. This setup favors convection that could limit peak heating through increased cloud cover and evaporative cooling, keeping readings clustered in the mid-to-upper 70s rather than pushing into the low 80s. The market's tight spread between the 76–77°F and 78–79°F bins reflects uncertainty over exact storm timing and coverage, as earlier or more widespread activity would favor the lower range while delayed development could allow brief warming toward 80°F. Historical climatology shows a September 19 average high of roughly 78°F, providing a baseline against which short-term model trends will be measured ahead of final resolution.
