Forecasts from the National Weather Service and local outlets for Denver on September 14 indicate highs centered in the mid-to-upper 80s, with isolated thunderstorms possible after midday that could cap afternoon heating through increased cloud cover and evaporative cooling. Model consensus shows limited spread, driven by southerly flow and modest moisture, keeping most guidance between 86°F and 88°F while allowing brief windows for 89°F if storms remain suppressed. Trader sentiment clusters tightly around the 86–89°F bins because resolution hinges on the official daily maximum from Denver-area stations, where small differences in storm timing or intensity can shift the peak by a degree or two. Historical September variability and the proximity to resolution amplify sensitivity to the next model runs and any updated NWS discussion.
