Ella Langley’s “Choosin’ Texas” commands 77% implied probability in the CMA Song of the Year market after its record-shattering run, including the longest Hot 100 reign by a solo female country artist and Billboard’s 2026 Song of the Summer crown. The track’s dominance on streaming, airplay, and sales charts, paired with its ACM Song of the Year win earlier in 2026 and co-writing credits including Miranda Lambert, has solidified trader consensus around its frontrunner status ahead of the November 18 ceremony. Recent CMA nominations, announced September 10, placed it alongside Langley’s own “Be Her,” Megan Moroney’s “Beautiful Things,” Kacey Musgraves’ “Dry Spell,” and Stephen Wilson Jr.’s “Gary,” though those trail sharply in market pricing. Historical patterns favor songs with this level of cross-format impact and guild-level validation, though voter ballots remain secret and late momentum shifts remain possible.
