**Cardi B featuring Kehlani’s “Safe” leads the VMA Best Hip-Hop category with a dominant 60.5% implied probability, fueled by its strong chart run, high-visibility music video, and sustained fan engagement since the September 2025 release from Cardi’s album Am I the Drama?** The track’s blend of Brooklyn drill and R&B, plus Cardi’s established awards momentum, has consolidated trader consensus ahead of the fan-voted award. The remaining nominees—Tyler, The Creator’s “Sugar on My Tongue” (13.2%), Don Toliver’s “E85” (10.1%), Megan Thee Stallion’s “Lover Girl” (8.0%), Drake’s “Janice STFU” (7.5%), and Travis Scott’s “Dumbo” (3.6%)—split support among established hip-hop acts but lack comparable recent visibility. Fan voting closes September 25, with the ceremony airing live September 27 on CBS and Paramount+, leaving limited time for late momentum shifts in this closely watched category.
