Official National Weather Service observations recorded a daily maximum of 82°F at Denver International Airport on September 9, 2026, aligning precisely with the market's near-certain 82-83°F outcome. This value fell just 1°F below the 1991-2020 normal high of 83°F under clear skies with no significant weather, consistent with late-summer climatology where highs typically range 80-84°F. National Weather Service station data, including peak timing at 3:31 PM MDT and supporting humidity and wind readings, provided definitive resolution criteria for traders. Minor challenges could arise only from alternate station measurements or post-hoc quality-control revisions, though such adjustments remain rare for this site.
