Casey Askar holds a modest lead in trader pricing for Florida’s 22nd Congressional District because the newly redrawn seat favors Republicans after 2026 redistricting moved it from Democratic-leaning to a lean-Republican or tilt-Republican district on nonpartisan ratings. Askar secured the Republican nomination in an August primary against a crowded field and gained additional momentum from endorsements by President Trump and Governor DeSantis plus inclusion in the NRCC’s MAGA Majority program in early September. Pia Dandiya won her Democratic primary comfortably and has highlighted cost-of-living issues, yet the district’s partisan composition and Republican organizational support have kept her implied probability below 50 percent with roughly seven weeks remaining until the November 3 general election.
