**Lando Norris sits fourth in the 2026 drivers’ standings with 171 points after 13 races, holding two victories (Hungary and the Netherlands) plus podiums at Miami and Barcelona.** McLaren’s car has shown marked improvement since mid-season upgrades, enabling Norris to claim consecutive wins in July and August on circuits suiting the team’s strengths in high-speed sectors. As the reigning 2025 champion with proven race-winning pace, Norris benefits from strong recent form and leads his teammate Oscar Piastri in the intra-team battle. Roughly ten rounds remain on a calendar featuring tracks like Singapore, the Americas, and the Middle East where McLaren has historically been competitive. Trader consensus at 72% for three or more wins reflects this momentum and Norris’s experience, while acknowledging variables such as Mercedes’ early-season dominance under Kimi Antonelli, potential reliability fluctuations, and shifting team performance. No major injury or regulatory issues currently affect his availability.
