This market will resolve to the driver who wins the 2026 Action of the Year award for the 2026 Formula 1 season as awarded at the FIA Awards. In the event of a tie, this market will resolve according to the official winner as determined by FIA rules. If multiple winners are announced then this market will resolve to the player whose listed last name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 Formula 1 season is cancelled, postponed after December 31, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or there is otherwise no winner declared within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the FIA; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Kimi Antonelli’s commanding lead in the F1 Action of the Year market stems from his standout performance at the 2026 Italian Grand Prix, where he charged from 19th on the grid—after a power unit penalty—to claim victory at Monza with roughly 25 overtakes, the second-largest comeback win in modern F1 history. This home-race triumph, his seventh of the season, extended his drivers’ championship advantage to 66 points over teammate George Russell while earning widespread praise from rivals, pundits, and Mercedes leadership for its skill and drama. Max Verstappen holds the next-highest implied probability on the strength of his season-long consistency and prior high-profile drives, though recent momentum has favored Antonelli. Lower-priced names such as Lewis Hamilton and Lando Norris reflect earlier-season highlights, but trader consensus has shifted sharply toward Antonelli following the Monza result, with the award expected to recognize the most spectacular on-track maneuver of the year.
