BTS’s “Swim” commands the strongest market-implied odds in the 2026 VMA Best K-Pop category thanks to its dual nomination for Song of the Year, sustained global streaming dominance on the Arirang album cycle, and the group’s prior VMA success including multiple Best Group wins. Fan voting, which closes September 25, favors established acts with broad crossover appeal, reinforcing trader consensus around BTS ahead of the September 27 ceremony at the Peacock Theatre. The remaining nominees—Blackpink’s “Jump,” Lisa’s “Dream,” Le Sserafim’s “Spaghetti” featuring J-Hope, Cortis’s “RedRed,” and Katseye’s “Pinky Up”—trail with lower implied probabilities, reflecting narrower voter bases and less accumulated momentum in precursor indicators. Recent performances and chart updates have not shifted the hierarchy, leaving limited room for late surges before the show.
