Recent polling averages ahead of the November 7, 2026, election place National and Labour clearly ahead in party vote, leaving the contest for third position under MMP between New Zealand First, the Greens, and ACT. Trader consensus favoring New Zealand First reflects its steady 8–12% range across recent surveys, Winston Peters’ established campaign profile, and historical minor-party resilience near election day. The Greens sit close behind on recent gains to the low-to-mid teens in some polls but show more volatility. ACT remains a distant factor despite occasional double-digit readings, while the two largest parties are expected to occupy first and second. Late shifts among undecided voters and final campaign events could still alter the ordering.
