This market will resolve according to the bracket corresponding to the longest winning streak by a single team during the 2026 MLB regular season. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the longest winning streak cannot be determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to “Other”. The resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.**In MLB's 2026 regular season, the 15-game winning streak posted by the Boston Red Sox from July 3-22 remains the longest to date, tying a franchise record and outpacing all other runs.** No team has approached or exceeded that mark since, with the longest active streak sitting at six games for the Los Angeles Dodgers as of early September. Late-season factors including playoff positioning, player rest, travel demands, and the compressed schedule window through the final weeks have limited opportunities for extended runs, aligning with the rarity of 16-plus game streaks in the modern era. Trader consensus heavily favors a 13-15 game maximum as the season concludes, reflecting this established ceiling. A realistic challenge would require an unexpected surge from a contending club like the Dodgers, Milwaukee Brewers, or Tampa Bay Rays amid favorable matchups, though roster management and the short remaining calendar make such an outcome unlikely.
