Kris Kobach holds a modest edge in trader pricing for the November 2026 Kansas attorney general race as the Republican incumbent facing Democrat Chris Mann in their 2022 rematch, which Kobach won by 1.6 points. Both candidates advanced unopposed in August primaries, setting up a contest centered on crime statistics, multistate litigation, and the office’s role in defending state laws on issues such as abortion and election rules. Kobach emphasizes enforcement results and sheriff endorsements, while Mann highlights fundraising momentum and attacks on violent crime trends. National Democratic and Republican attorney general groups have increased spending, and analysts have shifted the race rating closer to a toss-up amid broader midterm dynamics. These factors sustain the competitive implied probabilities reflected in current market consensus.
