Recent forecast models from agencies including the German Weather Service (DWD) and GFS ensembles indicate a stable high-pressure regime over southern Germany, with northwest winds of 5–10 km/h, minimal cloud cover, and no precipitation expected on September 22. These conditions support a daily maximum near 16–17°C in Munich, below the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 18.8°C. Multiple runs show afternoon peaks clustered between 15–17°C, with limited spread across models, driving the market's heavy weighting toward 17°C. Updated guidance released in the past 24 hours has reinforced this range without signaling warmer advection or increased insolation that could push readings to 18°C or higher.
