Kyle Pitts enters the 2026 season coming off a career-best 2025 campaign of 88 receptions for 928 yards and five touchdowns, ranking among the NFL's top tight ends in targets and production. New head coach Kevin Stefanski's scheme has historically funneled a high share of targets to the tight end position, positioning Pitts for increased volume and shorter routes that emphasize yards after catch behind quarterback options including Tua Tagovailoa. The Falcons locked in Pitts with a three-year extension in June, securing the 25-year-old through at least 2028 amid a stable offensive core featuring Drake London and Bijan Robinson. Preseason chemistry with Tagovailoa and a strong Week 1 matchup against the Steelers defense that has allowed significant tight end production add immediate context, while target competition and any quarterback uncertainty remain key variables for total receiving yards.
