Tyler Warren, the Colts' second-year tight end, enters 2026 with an expanded role following Michael Pittman Jr.'s offseason trade, positioning him as a primary target alongside Josh Downs and Alec Pierce in Shane Steichen's offense. As a 2025 first-round pick out of Penn State, Warren posted 76 receptions for 817 yards and four touchdowns as a rookie while earning Pro Bowl honors, often operating with high snap shares and red-zone usage. Quarterback Daniel Jones, who missed late 2025 time with an Achilles injury, returns healthy and has cited expectations for further growth from Warren. Week 1 yielded three catches for 13 yards and a touchdown in a loss to Baltimore, with the 6-6, 256-pound tight end cleared of prior groin and toe concerns. Factors such as target volume, offensive line health, schedule strength, and Jones' consistency will shape his season-long receiving yardage.
