If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the team with the higher run differential during the 2026 MLB regular season. If a tie still persists, this market will resolve in favor of the team whose listed team name comes first alphabetically. If the 2026 MLB regular season is cancelled, postponed after October 11, 2026, 11:59 PM ET, or the team with the most home runs cannot be determined within that timeframe, this market will resolve to "Other". The resolution source for this market will be official information from the MLB; however, a consensus of credible reporting may also be used.Several teams remain tightly bunched in the 2026 home run race heading into the final weeks, with the Chicago Cubs holding a narrow edge in trader consensus at 49.6% implied probability followed closely by the New York Yankees at 44%. The Cubs’ recent power surge, fueled by Pete Crow-Armstrong’s 44 homers and contributions from Seiya Suzuki and Ian Happ, has kept them atop the leaderboard amid strong September output. The Yankees’ efficient lineup and high AB/HR rate sustain their position despite fewer total long balls in some stretches. Other contenders like the Phillies, Braves, and Astros sit within striking distance, with late-season form, park factors, and remaining schedule strength creating ongoing volatility that prevents any single club from pulling away decisively.
